The Bookstore
These texts do
an excellent job of covering many of the aspects of modern electrochemistry. Any of
these texts are at home on the bookshelf of the neophyte or the experienced
electrochemist. If you have a first edition of one of these titles, it
may be time to update your bookshelf!

"Electrochemical
Methods: Fundamentals and Applications, Second Edition" by Bard & Faulkner.
This is the book if you want a good theoretical description of
the fundamentals of electroanalytical chemistry. It belongs on every serious
electrochemist's bookshelf. It may not be easy reading, but only because the material is
challenging: It is all well presented. The first edition (1980) lacked some of the
exciting, newer topics in electrochemistry (microelectrodes and STM for example) but it
couldn't be beat for the basics! This second edition removes this last complaint!
A "Student
Solutions Manual" for the second edition is also available.
